Welcome…

I’m Liz Loasby, a UK-based artist with a love for quiet landscapes, moody skies, and the soft pull of nostalgia. I work mostly in watercolour, painting scenes that feel both familiar and a little dreamlike.

My inspiration comes from places I know and love the Forest of Dean, the wild beauty of Snowdonia, and the Yorkshire moors where I grew up. I’m especially drawn to crumbling castles, winding paths, and skies that seem to hold a secret.

Most of my work leans towards traditional landscape, but every now and then something quirkier emerges, often playful sometimes a little naïve, always with heart. Those are the pieces that surprise even me.

Every painting is a way to slow down, to look closely, and to share a moment of stillness. Thank you for stopping by, I hope something here speaks to you.
